The 83rd Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco 2026 remains the most sought-after superyacht event in the world. From 4 to 7 June 2026, Port Hercule will host the 83rd Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco, transforming the harbour into a highly regulated, allocation-based berthing environment for 50m+ yachts. Chartering a yacht during Monaco GP is not simply about availability — it is about securing positioning, complying with SEPM allocation rules, structuring hospitality passes, and anticipating operational constraints months in advance. This guide explains the official 2026 process, berth costs by zone, hospitality requirements and strategic considerations for Superyachts.
Event dates: 4–7 June 2026
Official berthing period: 1 June 2026 (12:00) to 8 June 2026 (12:00)
Latest arrival deadline: 3 June 2026 (20:00)
Earliest departure: 7 June 2026 (19:00)
Any yacht occupying a berth during this period is charged the full Grand Prix tariff, regardless of shorter stays.
Extensions beyond 8 June require a separate reservation request through Monaco Ports.
Berths during the Grand Prix are allocated across four official tariff zones.
Quai des États-Unis
Quai Jarlan
First two berths of Quai U’
This is the highest visibility area, directly adjacent to the circuit.
T Piscine
Quais N, P, Q, U
Quai U’ from the third berth onward
Premium location with strong circuit proximity.
Remaining berths within Port Hercule
Less exposed but still within the harbour basin.
Port de Fontvieille
More discreet positioning outside the main circuit-facing area.
Zone selection significantly impacts hospitality visibility, guest flow logistics and overall event positioning.

Monaco Grand Prix week is a controlled event environment.
Yes — but under strict conditions.
Any public advertising or commercialisation of yacht access after allocation may trigger a review of berth approval.
Sponsor documentation must be submitted in advance.
Branding, promotional activity and event access sales must comply with SEPM regulations.
Failure to comply can result in cancellation of the berth without refund.
Monaco GP is not a standard Mediterranean charter week.
It is a:
Regulated event allocation
High-security environment
Limited berth inventory
Hospitality-controlled system
Incorrect zone selection
Underestimating hospitality pass requirements
Poorly structured sponsor documentation
Late application
Inadequate crew logistics planning
For 50m+ and 60m+ yachts, positioning strategy directly impacts visibility, guest experience and return on hospitality investment.
Demand for 50m+ yachts during Monaco Grand Prix continues to outpace availability.
Prime 60m+ vessels are typically positioned and discussed 8–10 months prior to the event.
Trackside berths are limited and subject to Commission approval.
Early preparation significantly increases probability of successful allocation.
If you are considering chartering a yacht for the Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco 2026, early positioning and correct file preparation are essential.
