Spain is one of the Mediterranean’s most captivating yacht charter destinations
Offering a perfect blend of turquoise seas, cosmopolitan marinas, ancient culture, Michelin-starred cuisine and glamorous beach life. From the rugged beauty of the Costa Brava to the energy of Barcelona and the crystalline anchorages of Ibiza, Formentera, Mallorca and Menorca, Spain delivers effortless luxury and unforgettable cruising.
Crossing from the French border into Spain, the coastline transforms dramatically. Pine forests descend into emerald water, small villages appear like white jewels on the shore, and sandy seabeds create idyllic anchorages for swimming and long lunches on deck. The Costa Brava is wild, elegant and surprisingly unspoiled, with secret coves accessible only by sea and a coastline glowing gold at sunset.
At Spain’s northeastern tip lies Cap de Creus, a protected natural reserve of sculpted rocks and translucent seas. Dolphins often follow yachts here, and mornings are glass-calm, perfect for paddleboarding, snorkeling and seabobs in sheltered coves. The atmosphere is raw, silent and spectacular.
Approaching Cadaqués by yacht feels like entering a postcard: whitewashed houses, bougainvillea, fishing boats and a curved natural harbour. Salvador Dalí lived here for decades, and the artistic atmosphere remains. Guests tender ashore for gourmet dinners, art galleries or sunset strolls through narrow stone streets. The anchorage is calm, intimate and deeply romantic.
Roses Bay is one of the finest natural anchorages on the Costa Brava. Cala Montjoi gained worldwide fame as home of El Bulli, Ferran Adrià’s legendary three-Michelin-star restaurant. Today, the bay remains a favourite among yachts for its clear water, granite cliffs and pristine seabed.
The Costa Brava is synonymous with hidden calas carved between cliffs, scented by pine and eucalyptus, accessible only from the sea. Cala Sa Tuna offers emerald water and perfect paddleboarding conditions. Cala Aiguablava is known for its turquoise shallows over a sandy bottom. Cala Futadera, nicknamed “the swimming pool”, glows in unreal shades of blue. Cala Pola and Cala Giverola are miniature lagoons for picnics and snorkeling.
Further south, the Costa Brava softens into elegant bays, small marinas and Belle Époque villas. Palamós offers wide beaches and exceptional seafood. S’Agaró is discreet, luxurious and architecturally refined. Sant Feliu de Guíxols brings history, culture and a charming promenade.
Between the Costa Brava and Barcelona lies the Maresme coast, known for golden sandy beaches, peaceful waters and upscale coastal towns. Port Balís provides superb superyacht service, provisioning and chic waterfront restaurants.
Arriving in Barcelona by yacht is unforgettable. The skyline rises from the water: the Gothic Quarter, Montjuïc castle, Gaudí’s surreal architecture and the famous W-Hotel overlooking the sea.
One of Europe’s premier superyacht marinas, welcoming yachts up to 180 meters. Michelin restaurants, designer shopping, private drivers and curated cultural visits are minutes away.
Michelin dining, exclusive Gaudí tours, flamenco evenings, rooftop cocktails, Picasso and Miró museums, watersports and world-class nightlife create a playground for every guest profile.
A smooth overnight passage leads from Barcelona to Ibiza, Formentera, Mallorca and Menorca — the Mediterranean’s most glamorous islands.
Ibiza is both serene and electric. Days unfold in turquoise bays like Cala Comte, Cala Bassa and Cala d’Hort. Nights sparkle in Ibiza Town with fine dining, beach clubs and world-famous nightlife.
Formentera offers Caribbean-style turquoise water, white sand and barefoot luxury. Ses Illetes and Cala Saona are among the most beautiful anchorages in Europe.
Mallorca blends dramatic mountains, vineyards, hidden coves and elegant marinas. The Tramuntana Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage site, offers spectacular anchorages such as Cala Deià, Sa Calobra and Cala Figuera.
Menorca is peaceful, natural and ideal for families. Cala Macarella, Macarelleta and Turqueta are postcard-perfect with transparent water ideal for snorkeling and paddleboarding.
Short cruising distances, world-class marinas, pristine beaches, Michelin dining, nightlife, history, shopping and watersports create the perfect Mediterranean balance for families, couples and VIP guests.
From rugged Costa Brava cliffs to Barcelona’s cultural energy and the Balearics’ luminous waters, Spain is a masterpiece of Mediterranean cruising. Whether guests seek glamour, peaceful anchorages, family adventures, wellness, gastronomy or nightlife, Spain delivers with elegance, beauty and unforgettable style.
